I've never heard of having a sunrise wedding before but it is so fitting for Emma and Will. Em is a nurse in Wollongong, and Will a yoga teacher, and these go getters are all about health and wellness.
Emma's gown really reflects this, we customised our CARRILLO gown, changing the fabric to a sheer silk georgette instead of the heavier silk satin. Then we added tiny pink and holographic beading, catching the light of the rising sun as she walked down the isle...
Gathering their family and friends for a getaway in Byron Bay, Maryanne and Dan celebrated a decade together at their wedding. But that's not the only thing they celebrated, with Dan learning to walk again, their wedding dance was a moment more special than most. Maryanne chose our MONACO skirt teamed with a customised CARMEN top with a plungeing V neck. She looks absolutely divine and just so, so happy
ERIN AND MIKEY
Whoever said it was bad to have it rain on your wedding day obviously didn't get cracking photos like this! Erin and Michael were married on the family farm in the scenic Meerschaum Vale, northern NSW. Erin mixed and matched her dress design taking the duke skirt and teaming it with the Carmen top.
REAL bride Tanya came to me with a couple of images and a general feeling of what kind of gown she wanted.
We took a look at some lace swatches and dress samples and together came up with some beautiful ideas for wedding gowns that Tanya absolutely loved.
But Tan and I got chatting as I started to patternmake and put together the mock up of her dress. She told me about her El Savadorian heritage and how much it meant to her to reference that throughout her wedding.
How PERFECT would it be to incorporate her heritage into her dress somehow? I mean, her gown could be the focal point of the whole wedding. I became obsessed with thinking up ways to reference Tanyas South American culture and one day stumbled across the most perfect Inca type embroiderd lace.
I couldn't get it out of my head but was hesitant to tell Tanya about my find as I didn't want to confuse her. She had already chosen her fabrics and loved the design and I didn't want to throw a spanner in the works..
I trusted my gut and showed her the new fabrics I had found and altered design to suit it...
I held my breath...
SHE WAS ECSTATIC ABOUT THE NEW DESIGN!
I'm so glad I trusted my instincts, I'm so glad I got to know Tan, and I'm so glad I could crate a gown for her that brought tears to her eyes.
I loved creating something special for Tania but I loved more the relationship that evolved. Tan and I met up at a dive bar in redfern to hand over her dress as she couldn't make it into the studio. We had a wine and said our goodbyes and Tan said something that makes my job so worthwhile: "The best part of this wedding journey has been meeting you" Right back atcha Tanya...
JULIA AND ROSS
It rained for 3 weeks straight in the lead up to Ross and Julia's wedding at Bendooley Estate in Berrima on the NSW south coast. But the clouds parted for this gorgeous couple to say their vows in this stunning outdoor garden setting. I love the classic lines of Julia's custom gown, she is elegant, she is effortless. Her custom Alencon lace and tulle veil adds a touch of the bohemian to her look, softening the lines of her classic gown. The photos say it all for this couple, so in love with one another, and filled with such happiness on their big day. Congratulations Ross and Julia
ANGE AND BRENT
A MARRIAGE AS SPARKLY AS THE BRIDE Ange was studying fashion design at the time of designing her dress and was inspired by the microscopy of cells and the beautiful patterns they create. Her couture gown became an extension of that, a completely hand beaded fitted tulle gown. In keeping with the non traditional style of this gown, Ange wore a matching couture beaded cape buttoned to her gown that cowled through the back into goreous train. Ange's gown was an extension of her personality, and she really let that shine through Location: Bush Bank Weddings in Kiama

It was love at first sight...meeting Angela and her talented creativeness! I went in with few ideas, and came out with a dress I loved. Nothing but accolades for producing something that was unlike many other dresses, in a material that was very unique. I was so comfortable all day and night in this elegant piece. I would recommend Angela to anyone!
